John Berg's "Luminous"
lu·mi·nous [loo-muh-nuh-s]
radiating, reflecting and filled with bright, shining light

John Berg’s long-anticipated return to leading Vinyasa classes will begin Sunday, February 11th at 10:30am . A two hour journey, the practice is dedicated to exploring and cultivating the light within us all; physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Primarily a strong and challenging asana practice, the extended time will allow for, as John puts it, a “full spectrum experience.” Rather than call it a “hybrid” class, John believes that a full yoga experience consists of all aspects of the discipline: grounding and intention, warming and connecting, physical challenge and tapas, cooling and softening and finally, stillness/integration.

Come prepared for commitment, discovery and healing through breath work, strong asana sequences, yin poses for reflection, Savasana and meditation. Music will, as always, be a feature of John’s classes, specially chosen to enhance yet not distract.

In keeping with Samyama’s pioneering spirit and mission, Luminous offers a unique yoga journey for all levels of practitioners.
