Savvy Girl Golf goes to the

PGA 2015 Merchandise Show

The Savvy Girl Golf sisters were in attendance at the PGA 2015 Merchandise Show on January 21st and 22nd. We were in search of functional and fashionable golf attire and accessories that complement our golf purses. Here are the top 10 items that we feel are worthy of mention.

Our Top 10 Fabulous, Functional and Fashionable Finds

1. Gyde Supply Company is one of the companies at the show that has implemented Gerbing technology which offers thermovelocity protection into their outerwear. They claim to be the "most advanced outerwear brand in the marketplace." In our words...there are several battery powered heating pads built into the jacket panels at strategic areas that heat up for a limited amout of time until an additional "charge" is completed. What a terrific idea for golfers who are trying to get a little bit longer golf season in colder climates!

2. Zero Friction Golf Gloves are a product that we discovered last year. We purchased a small quantity to test and we LOVE them. This glove is one size fits all and is very comfortable and durable. The ladies glove is available in five vibrant colors plus white.....lime green, pink, lavender, red and blue. There is a magnetized area on the front that fits our ball mark perfectly!

3. Lisette L Sport is a brand that we are familiar with. We know that their products are the most comfortable and flattering pants that we have ever worn.

At the show, we learned that they offer their pants in 9 lengths! Not all designs are offered in each length, but what an amazing variety! We were able to preview the new colors and patterns. We fell in love with the Arizona print!

4. The Endless Summer Scarf claims to be "the most versatile UPF 50+ sun protective garment on the market today." We had a long discussion with the president and owner, Summer Kramer, who is a licensed pharmacist and is very passionate about her product. As well she should be....she is a skin cancer survivor. Her website contains a wealth of information about skin cancer and the need for protective clothing.

5. Dresses were big at the show this year and Katherine Way is one of the designers that featured big, bold, colorful designs in a moisture-wicking fabric that has a 50+ UPF rating. We loved the dresses, but also the colorful shorts made with these colorful fabrics. Katherine's products are proudly made in the USA.
