The cards will be available for pick up at Central Services by providing a student card or proof of identification. An email will be sent to notify students when their business cards are available. Business cards are limited to fourth year students only; third year students may purchase business cards with the presence of a letter of recommendation.

Laudato Si Reflection Group


During the Lenten and Easter season we will have a unique opportunity to concretely respond to Pope's Francis invitation to explore more deeply our relationship with our sisters and brothers and the earth with whom we share this planet by reflecting on Pope Francis' Encyclical Laudato Si (Our Common Home). We will meet for an hour each during the Lenten Season (excluding reading week). A doodle poll will be used to determine the best day and time to meet. Development and Peace Solidarity

Development and Peace Solidarity Speaker M. Ary Regis, President of the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC), from Haiti, will join us Tuesday, March 8, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Student Vitali Lounge at King's University College. WACC is an institution engaged in supporting grassroots groups in media ownership for the promotion and respect for the right to communication in an ecumenical perspective. It is a non-governmental organization that builds on communication rights in order to promote social justice. They offer guidance and support to people of all faiths, ethnicities, and cultures worldwide. M. Ary Regis will speak of the support he has received from Canada and the challenges his organization continues to face.

During King's Open House days in March, future students can experience a mini-university lecture, attend information sessions about our student services, tour the King's campus and residences, and meet faculty and students from each of our programs. In one day, future students can see first-hand the benefits of being a student in a small, supportive community at King's, while earning a Western degree. LONDON YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL ­APPLICATIONS FOR COUNCIL OPEN
The London Youth Advisory Council is looking for youth aged 15-25 to run for the youth councillor position, representing their ward to build a better London. Applications are open until March 13th:   Apply here.

The LYAC is a democratically elected council of 15 youth, representing London's 14 wards and Western University, who collaborate with community and city leaders to bring about change in the city. For their one year term, youth councillors work on various initiatives within the city, receive training from LYAC staff and community leaders, and represent their youth constituents at political events, meetings and focus groups. No political knowledge or experience is required. Youth who apply receive campaign training on March 20th, and the public votes for their youth representatives from May 1st to May 7th.
