4th of July Celebration- Sunset Cove Amphitheater West Boca Community Council and the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department present, the 11th Annual 4th of July Celebration Wed, July 4, 6 p.m. at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton. This family fun event will have a kids zone, concessions on site, a welcome booth and interactive prize wheel, music by The Fabulous Fleetwoods and fireworks! FREE ADMISSION

Animal Keeper for a Day- Daggerwing Nature Center Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to feed diets, clean exhibits and provide enrichments to the animals at Daggerwing Nature Center Fri, July 6, 10 a.m. in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton. Ages 8 and older, $10/participant. RSVP required.

Calligraphy: Children's Mini-Workshop- Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens Learn how to write your name and some Japanese words with ink and brush, two traditional calligraphy writing implements, in this hands-on workshop Sat, July 7, 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. in the Oki Education Center at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, Delray Beach. For participants in grades 3rd-5th; $25/participant. RSVP required.

ArtStops: Mixed Media- VSA Florida- Palm Beach County Create impressive works of art using a variety of materials Saturdays, July 7-28, 10 a.m. at the CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex, Lake Worth. Ages 13 and older; $50/person. This program is for all abilities. RSVP required.

Junior Lifeguard Camp- North County Aquatic Complex Get a sneak peek into what lifeguarding is all about during junior lifeguard camp at North County Aquatic Complex, Jupiter. Session 3 is July 10-13 and Session 4 is July 24-27 , both at 10 a.m. Ages 9-14; $60/session. RSVP required.

Summer Adventure Club- Therapeutic Recreation Join the summer adventure club for adults with developmental disabilities. Hang out with old friends or meet new friends while embarking on fun adventure-based activities. Group meets once a week. This month's session dates are July 11, 18 and 25 . Ages 18 and older; $45/session. RSVP required.

Shakespeare by the Sea XVIII presents Antony + Cleopatra- Seabreeze Amphitheater See the timeless tale of obsession, power, love and death like never before in this original interpretation of William Shakespeare's Antony & Cleopatra Thurs-Sun, July 12-15 & July 19-22, 8 p.m. at Seabreeze Amphitheater in Carlin Park, Jupiter. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. FREE ADMISSION

Night Hike- Riverbend Park Join a naturalist on a walk and observe the change from diurnal to nocturnal in Riverbend Park, Jupiter Fri, July 13, 7 p.m. Good walking shoes and bug spray is recommended. All ages, $5/person. RSVP required.

Special Olympics County Swimming Championships- Aqua Crest Pool Cheer on and watch as Special Olympic athletes from all over Palm Beach County compete in a variety of swimming events Sat, July 14, 8 a.m. at Aqua Crest Pool, Delray Beach. Swimming events include short events and relays. FREE to spectators.

Aquatic Programs at Gleneagles Country Club Aquatic Center From adaptive swim lessons, aqua motion and aqua arthritis, to parent and child aquatics and family swim, learn how to swim, add moderate exercise to your daily routine and make a splash at this aquatic center located at the CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex, Lake Worth. Summer Swimming Celebrations- Lake Lytal Family Aquatic Center and Pioneer Park Aquatic Center Make a splash at the Children's Services Council Summer Swimming Celebration Sat, July 14, 10 a.m. at Lake Lytal Family Aquatic Center, West Palm Beach and Sat, July 28, 10 a.m. at Pioneer Park Aquatic Center in Glades Pioneer Park, Belle Glade. South Florida's Animals- Green Cay Nature Center Join a naturalist to learn about habitats, adaptations and some of South Florida's wildlife Fri, July 20, 9 a.m. at Green Cay Nature Center, Boynton Beach. Ages 7 and older, $3/person. RSVP required.

10th Annual Summer Ocean Mile Swim- Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue Register today to compete against other open water swimmers while being guarded by Palm Beach County's award winning ocean lifeguards Sat, July 21, 7 a.m. at R.G. Kreusler Park, Palm Beach. $25/participant. There will be no race-day registration. The event is limited to the first 300 participants.

Stardust Dance Club- Therapeutic Recreation Stardust Dance Club is back Sat, July 21, 6 p.m. at the CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex, Lake Worth. Program goals are to increase independence, social interaction with peers, and provide respite for caregivers. Ages 18 and older, $5/participant. RSVP required.

Team Tournament Series- Osprey Point Golf Course Register your four-person scramble team today for event #3 of the 2018 Team Tournament Series Sat, July 21 at Osprey Point Golf Course in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton.
