October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month and while we (as a fellow nonprofit) cannot directly support this important cause, we can help raise awareness. Like homelessness and addiction, the prevalence of breast cancer is very real. 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer within their lifetimes and continuing research is critical. We hope that you'll not only support the Mission this month but will also "wear pink" to encourage those battling this terrible disease and to show your support for the many wonderful organizations fighting for a cure.
