The "10 Homes 10 Seeds" project, helping people like you garden at home, is getting the Social Justice Learning Institute closer to its goal of building 100 urban gardens in Inglewood.
On Saturday, July 13th, 2013
with volunteer support from our friends at DoGoodBus, 15 of those gardens will be built in 1 day!

The process at a glance:
* Contact us and schedule a site visit w/ our garden coordinator
* Come to our mandatory gardening classes on Sat. June 29th 9am & July 20th 11am, both at Queen Park (652 E. Queen Street Inglewood, CA 90301)!
* Help us resource raise for this project online
* Gather 3 volunteers to help build your home garden.
* *Be present to build your home garden on Saturday, July 13th, 2013
*We will build two (2) 4x4 in ground garden beds (1 with food for your family and 1 with food for the 100 Seeds of Change Food System). SJLI provides supplies (shovels, rakes, etc), materials (soil, plants, seeds, etc), gardening classes and support & 3 volunteers for your garden build free of charge. We just ask that you agree to care for your both of your 4x4 garden plots with intention to grow some extra food to give back to the community.
