March 2018

Some readers might not be aware that we are increasingly becoming a preferred training provider for Certificate III in Business traineeships. Go us!

The benefits of having a business trainee are many, and we work with employers to help build the capacity of newly employed administration team members via our high levels of student contact, encouragement and nurturing.

We are also enjoying working with our existing, part-time and school-based trainees as more and more of our clients seek competent administrative support in their businesses.

Like many new worker traineeships (or apprenticeships) there are a range of financial employer incentives available to help companies train and support any new hires that are signed into training contracts.  Contact us to talk about traineeships!

1 Day Safety for Supervisors
Mar 20 - 8.30am - 4.00pm
ONLY $330 per person

All supervisors, regardless of the industry they work in, have a duty of care under current health and safety laws.

Do you understand EXACTLY what this means, and are you comfortable in demonstrating these responsibilities?

If you are a supervisor, answer of yourself the following questions:

  • Are you taking the reasonable care required to check that everyone in your area of responsibility is fulfilling their duty of care?
  • Should you have more involvement in the process of developing and contributing to the systems, policies and procedures that affect your work area?
  • Do you know that if a supervisor is not fulfilling their duty of care, then it follows that the employer has not fulfilled their duty of care, thereby placing the workplace and employees in personal and financial risk?
