This unique mosaic garden art combines traditional glass mosaic with a timeless spherical shape. In centuries past, these globes were used to ward away evil spirits and for bestowing good fortune on their owners. Indoors or out, this special project will bring charm to your patio, garden or home decor.
Your design for this globe can be as simple as choosing a variety of complementary colors and tiling all over. You might choose to look online at gazing balls to get some design ideas for your 8" ball. We will have some design ideas available but won't be providing patterns.
Tuition includes one hour of teaching on Saturday, two hours of teaching on Sunday and two hours of free time on Sunday afternoon to work on your project. |

Here's your chance to use scrap glass & zinc when we build a beautiful garden art project that adds a color splash to your patio or garden.
We're going to start by building a frame from SCRAP zinc. Then, we'll use scrap glass to create a whimsical collage to display in your garden. You'll be able to put it on a stake to display at ground level or hang it on your patio, tree, deck or fence.
If you have an ample selection of scrap, the supplies for this class will cost almost nothing. If you need scrap glass, we have a lot at $2 per pound. Or you can scope out the value corner at $3.50 per pound.
If you have faith, register without the photo. Or you can watch for our next email when we'll have the class demo complete and ready for photographs. |
