July at The Kreeger Museum
Coming in September
Reinstallation of the Permanent Collection in the Lower Galleries

The Museum’s postwar and contemporary art holdings and collection of African masks return to our newly renovated lower level galleries on September 4. With the reinstallation of these works, approximately 75 percent of the permanent collection will be on view.
See Second Nature before it closes on July 31
Second Nature: Portuguese Contemporary Art from the EDP Foundation Collection is the first group exhibition of contemporary Portuguese art in the US .   Working in media ranging from watercolor to photography to video, nineteen artists consider the tension between the concept of an untouched natural world and the ways humans have dominated and reshaped the environment. Don't miss the opportunity to see this international exhibition before it leaves The Kreeger Museum.
