Care a Little More on October 19th
How can you not love New York in the fall? The air is crisp, the leaves crunch beneath your feet, and students are excitedly (sometimes) rushing back to school. On October 19th, turn your love for our city into action on New York Cares Day Fall. 6,000 volunteers will clean classrooms, organize libraries, and paint to spruce up public schools in all five boroughs. September 11th is a day that is not only meaningful to New York City and New York Cares, but our entire country. It's important for New Yorkers to memorialize 9/11 annually to remember everyone we've lost. But it's also a great opportunity to reflect and find ways to move forward in a positive way.
It's finally here! Well not quite, but the countdown is officially on. Come Monday, September 23rd, our new website launches, with more advanced search options, profile features, and a fancy design. Watch our tutorial so you know how to navigate the site on Monday.
