Courage to Remember

The Courage to Remember:  The Holocaust

Opening Ceremony: Monday, July 8, 10am

Central Library Friends Room

Exhibit: July 8-29, Central Library, Upper Level

Newport Beach Public Library will host "The Courage to Remember," a traveling exhibit, produced by the Museum of Tolerance, the educational arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, from July 8 through July 29 at the Central Library.

Please join us for the opening ceremony of this remarkable exhibit on Monday, July 8 at 10 a.m., with a special presentation by Jack Pariser, an 84-year-old Laguna Beach resident and Holocaust survivor.
The exhibit, which features over 200 compelling photographs, offers unique insight into the Holocaust.  The 40-panel visual narrative traces the history of events in four distinct themes: Nazi Germany, 1933-1938; Moving Toward the "Final Solution," 1939-1941; Annihilation in Nazi-occupied Europe, 1941-1945; and Liberation, Building New Lives.
