Le Colonial (312) 255-0088 Le Colonial's sidewalk café and open air terrace reign as the "oasis" of the Gold Coast, amidst the bustling Rush Street. Find a spot on the charming sidewalk café surrounded by potted palms, or if you prefer to "see without being seen" sneak up to the second floor open air terrace. Dine on fresh seafood and salads in the spirit of the summer; favorites include the whole snapper, filleted tableside, and the goi bun so, a scallop and noodle salad with so many flavors and textures, you can enjoy it as an entrée. Don't forget to check out their cocktail list, including the "as you like it" section - choose from mango, lychee, or ginger and have the cocktail as a martini or margarita. It's no wonder Le Colonial is a Chicago staple - they have the food, service, ambiance and of course, the view.
