It's a great week of music this St. Patty's Day week, with Marianna, British Beats, and Lady A and the Baby Blues.  Don't forget to check out our wine and food menus here. 

Looking ahead, The Inverse Opera returns to Vino Bella on Monday, March 19 at 7:00pm.  Our Upcoming Special Events section contains more information on what is sure to be a fun evening of entertainment.

March's Comedy Night is scheduled for March 21st and tickets are currently on sale.  Read on for more information on the featured comics and call 425-391-1424 for reservations.

On Wednesday, March 28, we'll once again host The Dating Game and put a few bachelors and bachelorettes on the hot seat!  Mark your calendars and join the fun!

Featuring some of the most experienced musicians in the Northwest, The British Beats will take you on a memorable journey to the clubs and concert halls of 1960's London as they recreate the music of The Fab Four, Cream, The Animals, The Hollies, The Moody Blues, Eric Clapton and more.

Although Lady "A" has been singing for more than 20 years, she began her solo singing career with the Baby Blues Funk band in 1994.  This sultry-husky voiced vixen is a contemporary blues diva and keeps her roots of Alexandria, Louisiana in the forefront of every show she performs.  Lady "A" has opened for such artist as Denise LaSalle, the late Little Milton, and has been on stage with artists such as Edent Brent, Janiva Magness, Kenny Neal, Charmaine & Charles Neville, Super Chikan, Wylan Thibbideau and Howlin Mad "Bill" Perry. 

The Lady's high energy show has been compared to the likes of "Tina Turner" with those legs and that smile, she easily draws the audience in with her sultry-husky voice and comtemporary blues stylings.

The Inverse Opera

The Inverse Opera is enjoying its second full year of dynamic, creative programming - already gaining critical acclaim for its unique blend of elite classical artistry and casual, fun-loving warmth. 2011 was filled to the brim with cabarets, concerts and chamber performances. Additionally, The Inverse Opera has happily performed as the Opera Company In-Residence for Second Story Rep in Redmond Town Center for their 2011- 2012 season. In January of 2012, Inverse debuted at ACT Theatre in "Project 5" in collaboration with Seattle Dance Project.

The Inverse Opera has another full slate of performances for the 2012 season, including continued gigs with longstanding cabaret partner Vino Bella on Monday, March 19.  Join us!

Our March Comedy Night is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 with headliner Susan Rice and featuring Xung Lam and host Todd Armstrong!

For over 28 years Susan Rice has been a 'chatterbox" for a living.

In 1983, Susan began her comedy journey on a small stage at the Leaky Roof Tavern. Her words, her story.  In 1986, Hollywood called and she packed her VW Super Beetle and off she went. While living in LA, she landed several comedy shows, all of which were national network shows.

In 1989, The King of Laugh-In George Schlatter sold ABC a stand up dominated comedy show called "George Schlatter's Comedy Club!"  It was Susan's first television credit and it would lead to others; Comedy Express on Fox, Comedy Club Reunion and the premiere week of "The Pat Sajak Show" on CBS, Rice then moved onto cable and did Evening at the Improv, Showtime Comedy on the Road and the Showtime Allstars show plus Comedy Centrals Stand Up Stand Up

It has been quite a ride for this "chatterbox" from Longview WA. Her career as an actress and a standup comic has spanned over 32 years. Her greatest feeling is the moment her audience recognizes her as someone familiar. "Its almost like a private joke between them and myself, it's wonderful." 
 

Our feature act, Xung Lam, is a veteran comedian whose set has been described as spotless and packed with jokes that run the gamut without leaving the audience behind.  We're also joined by host Todd Armstrong.

It's going to be a great night of comedy with Susan, Xung, and Todd.
