Share your Memories and Save a Bit of Library History
Sign our Memory Book
We are collecting people's stories about the Ridgefield Library and what it has meant to them and their families over the years.  We have started a Memory Book, which can be found near the Circulation Desk.  Stop by to add your reminiscences on paper, or send them to us by email.  We will be sharing them on our website soon, along with videotaped testimonials folks made at last Saturday's Community Open House.

brickBuy a Brick!
You can take home a little piece of the Ridgefield Library once construction starts and a large part of the building is demolished.  For just $10 you can purchase an authentic brick from the current Library as a keepsake. They make a great bookend, paperweight or doorstop - and a unique idea for Father's Day, graduation and teacher gifts! Reserve your bricks now at the Circulation Desk or purchase online, and we will contact you when bricks are ready for pick up.
Book Buggy Buzzes In for July
FORL logoThe Friends of the Library are pleased to announce a new pilot program called the Book Buggy.

The Book Buggy consists of a cart stocked with reading material for people of all ages, available for casual use. Book Buggies will be found this July in Ballard Park (M-W-F 1:00 AM - 2:00 PM) and at the Recreation Center (during the center's hours of operation). No library card is necessary. Just choose an item of interest.  Read it while you are in the park or at the Rec Center and return when you are done.
