This week, the House Finance Committee is holding hearings to more closely compare and contrast the competing fiscal plans that have passed the House and Senate, hearing from various stakeholders on how these policy changes will impact our state's economy. As part of this series, we'll hear from the private sector, municipal governments, nonprofits, labor groups, and tribal representatives, in addition to presentations from the Alaska Department of Revenue and the non-partisan Legislative Finance Division.
While we are always examining Alaska's fiscal policy and its impacts in everything we do, this is an interesting opportunity to hear directly from each sector on the specific plans being discussed by the legislature.
If you'd like to tune in, you can watch hearings live daily (M-F) at 1:30pm by visiting 360 North or akl.tv.

Having trouble? Feel free to call my office at (907) 465-3892 and we'll make sure to get you connected!
