Why Do We Have Offering Envelopes?
Offering envelopes are a public way to witness to the support of God's mission through our church, a key mark to being a disciple of Jesus. Even if your giving pattern is once a month or twice a month, by offering up an envelope every week (empty for the non-offering Sundays), it is a great teaching opportunity for younger Christians, and for those present who are not a regular part of our worshiping community, that we give joyfully to the Lord as an act of worship.
Offering envelopes are also a good reminder that we give to the Lord consistently.
If you haven't received your offering envelopes for this year, we are handing them out this Sunday. Join with your other brothers and sisters in Christ as we respond Him in this important way.
