teaching about eternal life is important about how we live today.

for 75 Years" is an original exhibit, guest curated by Assistant

Leadership Program Over the course of seven weeks, the Blue
Leadership Program prepares students to serve in significant campus
and community leadership roles, by providing in-depth leadership
training. Interactive workshops are presented by Student Affairs
administrators and/or guest speakers. Each two-hour workshop equips
students with leadership knowledge and tools to succeed as leaders
at Hofstra University and beyond. The leadership model for the
SERVICEday Series is based on a foundation of theories and
processes that cover 12 areas of leadership, including personal
development, purpose and vision, collaboration, and service.
Participation in the SERVICEday Series (5 hours) is also a
requirement. Applications are available in 260 Student Center. If

Hofstra Observatory Only open to students who are
enrolled in an astronomy course during their class time. The
only time that the observatory is open to the public is during
Hofstra University's "Stars on Sundays" series allows participants
to use telescopes for star-gazing while learning about the universe

) In celebration of Hofstra University's 75th anniversary, this
exhibition, guest curated by Geri Solomon, assistant dean of
special collections and Hofstra University archivist, is drawn from
the University Archives collection, which focuses on the history of
the University, and highlights 75 stories from the University's
past. Through the use of photographs, original documents,
memorabilia and objects, the exhibition tells the stories of
William and Kate Hofstra, the University presidents, and Hofstra
students, faculty and staff. Included are anecdotes and
descriptions of events that many will have forgotten, such as: Who
were the founding sisters of Alpha Theta Beta? Who were James
Barnard, George Williams and Olive Plunkett? What was the concept

Marclay: Festival" Whitney Museum of American Art, 945

nearly 30 years, this visual artist and pioneer turntablist has
employed sculpture, performance, installation, video, photography
and collage to meld the worlds of image and sound. This
continuously evolving exhibition features musicians and vocalists
