Happy New Year Everyone! It's a Wonderful Wednesday here in North Baldwin and we're kicking it into high gear to make 2016 a great year!

We are busy preparing for the 70th Annual Meeting and Dinner to be held:

And we need your input:

We are now accepting nominations for the
2015 Business of the Year Award and the
2015 Harry B. Still Distinguished Service Award,
both will be presented at the 70th Annual Meeting and Dinner. 

This year we have added a second category to our
Business of the Year Award, we will be presenting a  Small Business of the Year award as well (the business must have 50 or less employees and be locally owned and operated).

Nominations are due no later than 4pm on 
Friday, January 15th, 2016


Fit3D ProScanner and Body Composition Analyzer now at the
 North Baldwin Fitness Center!

The Fit3D ProScanner captures a full 360° model of a human body, then automatically extracts hundreds of circumference, height, volume and length measurements.

The scanner will be at North Baldwin Fitness Center until Jan. 31.

The Baldwin County Solid Waste Department will hold its annual Baldwin Clean Sweep 2016 on Saturday, January 9, 2016. All Baldwin County residents are encouraged to participate in this event and dispose of debris for FREE.

Baldwin County residents can bring yard waste, Christmas trees, construction debris, cardboard, tires, electronics, furniture, appliances, scrap metal, carpet, paint, household hazardous waste and other nonputrescible  waste FREE of charge to the Magnolia Landfill, the MacBride Landfill and the Bay Minette
Transfer Station during Baldwin Clean Sweep 2016 on Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

No regular household garbage will be accepted at this event.  Baldwin County residents must provide proof of residency in Baldwin County as well as name, address  and phone number to discard of their waste for free during Baldwin Clean Sweep 2016. Baldwin County  Solid Waste Department staff will be present to provide detailed instructions for unloading waste  materials on the day of the event.

Normal operating procedures and charges will be in effect for commercial waste disposal, putrescible  waste disposal and commercial tire disposal.
In addition to Baldwin Clean Sweep 2016, the Baldwin County Solid Waste Department collects waste  cooking oil for recycling for free every day at all Baldwin County Landfill locations.
