Pennsylvania Ballet, Artistic Director Angel Corella has announced the new artists for the 2018/2019 Season with the addition of Corps de Ballet member Thays Golz and Apprentice Pau Pujol. Additionally, Pennsylvania Ballet II (PBII) welcomes Lucia Erickson, Arnaldo Hernandez, Mine Kusano, Denis Maciel, Carla Yamuza Masip, Cory Ogdahl, Sophie Savas-Carstens, Paloma Berjano Torrado, and Emily Wilson.

BalletX, Philadelphia's premier contemporary ballet, led by Artistic & Executive Director Christine Cox, is thrilled to announce that Katarzyna Skarpetowska has been awarded the 2019 Choreographic Fellowship. Nicolo Fonte, who previously premiered his full-length works Beautiful Decay (2013) and Beasts (2015) on BalletX, will serve as this year's Choreographic Mentor. Both fellow and mentor will present world premiere ballets on BalletX at Spring Series 2019 at The Wilma Theater, March 6-17, 2019.

Secret passageways, live dancing shadows, and color changing murals await visitors at FIGMAGO, Philadelphia's imaginative new tourist attraction. Opening in July, this hands-on art adventure is the latest collaboration between internationally renowned muralist, Meg Saligman Studio, and preeminent dance company, Brian Sanders' JUNK.

The James Dupree Gallery, 703 S 6th Street, Philadelphia, is proud to announce the opening of Out of Time, a first time solo visual art exhibition by award wining Guggenheim, United States Artist and Pew fellow in dance, Raphael Xavier. Out of Time will showcase Xavier's photography and paintings from the last 20 years.

"We're presenting a rich diversity of dance this year," says Stuccio. "These are all veteran makers, but they are also disparate compared to one another. They all create from their own rather unique artistic frameworks, whether their work is informed by historical research, personal experiences, or the possibilities of movement. The Princess Grace Foundation has announced the winners of the 2018 Princess Grace Awards. The Awards will be presented at the annual Princess Grace Awards Gala and continue the legacy of Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, who helped emerging artists pursue their artistic goals during her lifetime. In total, the Foundation is awarding over $1 million to artists in theater, dance, and film.

Carry Me will take place at the CHI Movement Arts Center in South Philadelphia on September 7th and 8th at 7:30 pm and on September 9th at 6 pm. This production is a part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival 2018. Carry Me is an evening-length dance performance for five women, created by choreographer, Evalina "Wally" Carbonell.

Lyons and Tigers present Proceed with Caution, a performance in the 2018 Philadelphia Fringe Festival September 7-9 at The Iron Factory in Kensington. This new full evening-length dance theater work is created by Darcy Lyons in collaboration with the performers and explores security through the mediums of dance, recorded and spoken text, and projected video.

The Temple University Department of Dance, Institute for Dance Scholarship, is delighted to present the seventh Reflection: Response Choreographic Commission, Lacks Criticality, by award-winning choreographer and Master Artist, Awilda Sterling Duprey. Performances will take place in Temple University's Conwell Dance Theater, on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, at 7:30 PM.
