This Week

on TIS Facebook
It's not a cure, but a new therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is being hailed as a breakthrough that can extend the life expectancy of those suffering from ALS.

Developed by researchers at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), the therapy may come to market much faster than typical treatments because it is based on an existing FDA-approved drug.

Keep up to date with us through our Facebook page. Our weekly enews, human interest stories, program announcements and more can all be found on our Facebook page.
