Lunch with the Rabbi
Thursday, August 10, Noon
Join Rabbi Greenbaum at Café Stravaganza in the Crossroads when he will lead a discussion on how should the non-Orthodox community respond to recent decisions by P.M Netanyahu. Why did he freeze the development of an egalitarian praying area near the Western Wall? What is happening with liberal conversions in Israel today? How can a Reform or Conservative Jew support our modern State of Israel when it appears to give any religious control to the traditional community? Come prepared to discuss, question and debate. Lunch costs only $20. Call the CBI office at 624-2015 to RSVP.

American Red Cross Blood Drive at CBI
Wednesday, August 16
Now is the right time to help save a life! There is an emergency need for blood and you can help. Come donate at our blood drive on Wednesday, August 16, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and you'll
receive a $5 Target eGiftCard™ after your donation.
The summer months often present a challenging time for the ARC, so when they asked CBI to open our doors for the community to donate blood, we were proud to help make a difference.
We hope you can feel the same pride in the difference you will make, by scheduling your donation appointment today. Visit redcrossblood.org and enter code "CBI".
Also, invite any of your friends or family members that might be interested in donating with you! One extra donation has the potential to save up to 3 lives!
IMPORTANT: You MUST have a valid email address on file in order to receive their reward. The rabbi has donated over 160 pints over the years. Join him in his effort to help others. Please give the gift of life!
