This Week at Christ Church
Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost:
Bread of Life - Live in Love Edition

You really can't get too much of the Bread of Life. But in case you feel that way, come contemplate what it is to "live in love as Christ loved us." The letter to the Ephesians suggests being kind to one another, tender-hearted and forgiving is a start!

If you're in town, I hope you'll come to services and live in Love with your family at CC. If you're traveling, I hope you'll live in Love, wherever you are, and be restored in mind, body and spirit.

Blessings and peace,
Emily

Drivers Needed (a.k.a. Angels on Wheels): We have a couple parishioners who would be interested in a ride to church on a monthly basis. LOOKING AHEAD

Kensington Labor Day Parade on September 3, 2018!

Come join us as we march/stroll in the 2018 Kensington Labor Day Parade!
It's an incredibly fun morning and a great way to let our neighbors know that we're here and alive with joy!  We will again distribute tote bags, flyers with upcoming events, and of course, candy for the children along the way.

Note: We will be meeting again near St. Paul's Park at 8:30am!

Please sign up here so we know how many people are coming:

We still need donations of "Parade Candy" to hand out in the parade - individually wrapped hard or soft candy, and gum; for example, Smarties, Tootsie Rolls, Twizzlers, Salt Water Taffy, Suckers, Starbursts, Skittles, SweetTarts, and Jolly Ranchers.  (No chocolates or other candy that might melt in hot weather.)

If you would please bring in additional bags of parade candy this Sunday, or during the coming week, it would be a great help!

Questions? Please contact Doug Smith (dcsmith1942@verizon.net), Sr. Warden or the Parish Office (administrator@ccpk.org). Thank you!
