Women's Prayer Brunch - Dec. 3
Women, please plan to join us for a prayer brunch on Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 am. We'll share a brunch meal together, followed by corporate prayer. The prayer time will include a testimony as well as times of worship, response, and intercession. Let us seek His face together before we seek His hand.

New Women's Sunday School Class
It is always exciting when God lays on the hearts of His people a desire to help others grow spiritually. He has done that again, putting it on the hearts of a few of our women to start a new Sunday School class, dedicated solely to our women. This class will be starting on Sunday, December 4. If you are interested in learning more or if you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Candelight Service - December 18
Please plan to join us Sunday, December 18th, in the sanctuary for a short, simple, and beautiful celebration for the whole family,  with scripture, carols, and candlelight. A perfect time to invite extended family and friends to come celebrate Christ's coming into the world.

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given..." (Isaiah 9:6)

Prayer Service & Christmas Dinner
Please plan to join us Sunday, December 11, as we once again come together in prayer and fellowship.

Join us at 4:45 p.m. in the sanctuary for an hour of prayer, and then at 6 p.m., we will break bread with one another to celebrate the Christmas season together.

Eastwood will provide the meat and drinks for the meal, and we'll ask that each of you bring a side or dessert to share. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Christmas Program - December 11
Please join us Sunday morning,  December 11, during our usual worship time for our annual children's Christmas program. We hope to see you and your family, your extended family, and any friends you wish to invite. It should be a powerful worship experience.

Join Us For Christmas Caroling
Our annual Christmas caroling outing is right around the corner. This event is a wonderful time of fellowship and celebration with one another, and it is an opportunity to be of joyful service to our community . God calls us to "make a joyful noise" and to "be of good cheer." So, plan to join us, Wednesday evening, December 14 at 6:30 pm (after our usual Wednesday night fellowship dinner) as we go out into our community to bring a little joy to the world around us by lifting our voices in praise to Him this Christmas season. We will meet at the church and leave from there. If you have any questions, please see Laura Smith.

Youth Winter Retreat Information
Our annual youth Winter Retreat is quickly approaching. In order to plan and prepare a fantastic weekend, we need to know how many students plan to attend.

Please see Kathy Petty ASAP for a registration form and medical waiver (CLICK HERE FOR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM) to hold a spot for your child.

Cost will be $115/student which includes 3 nights in the cabins, all meals, and a T-shirt. We will ask for an additional cost of $6 for our CiCi's Pizza dinner on Friday evening.

For new youth parents, this event is one of the our favorite events of the year. We have worship in the mornings and evenings, with a speaker sharing a message after each worship session. We then also have small group discussions, games, and activities all on-site at the Camp Living Stones retreat center. Students are encouraged to engage with each other to connect and strengthen relationships within our youth body and with Christ.

Dates
Friday, January 13 depart from church at 5:00 PM
Return Monday, January 16 @ 10:00 AM

Makumbi Support Still Accepted
Hopefully you were present recently as  Makumbi shared the amazing work God is doing through him and his team in Uganda. If not, you can listen to the audio on our website ( CLICK HERE).

We also took up an offering last Sunday to support his mission work, and for those of you who were not able to give last week but feel led to do so, we will keep the donation period open through the next few weeks. If you would like to give, you may give through the church office. If you write a check, please notate " Makumbi support" in the me mo line. As always, we thank you for supporting this work.
