This Week at Eastwood 
October 2, 2015
No Wednesday Night Activities 
Due to Fall Break, there will be no regularly scheduled
Wednesday night activities for  October 7 . This includes  fellowship dinner and regular bible studies and small groups.

Enjoy time with your family.

 
Save The Date - Trunk or Treat 
It's about that time of year again to come together as a body and fellowship and celebrate Christ with our community.

This year, we will be having a fellowship cookout/picnic prior to our Trunk or Treat festival. There will be lots of games, fun things, and food!
 
October 31 is the date. Mark it down now and plan to join us. More information will follow in the weeks to come. Stay tuned!

One thing we will need:  CANDY!

Start making plans to help with candy donations!!  There will be a collection box at the church

Winter Coat Drive 
During the month of October, Vikki Wilhoit will be collecting new and gently used winter coats for the 
children at Eastside Elementary. If you feel led to contribute, please donate coats that would be appropriate for  students from  Kindergarten thru 5th grade . There will be a collection box at Eastwood Church from October 1st-25th.

Youth Winter Retreat - Deposit Due Date
Winter Retreat is fast approaching. As most of you know, our location has changed this year. Instead of Fort Bluff, we will be going to  CAMP LIVING STONES.  
We are sure you'll love it!  Total cost per person $110.  A $40 deposit per student is due November 1st.

Joyful 50+ Small Group & Bible Study  

The next group time will be October 6th at 11:30. Consider joining us, we would love to have you for this casual lunch, bible study, and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend! Please bring a covered dish or $1 for the lunch.

Adult Small Group
 

Sunday morning groups are a great way to learn more about yourself and God's plan for you while making valuable connections with others. We have several adult groups that meet Sunday mornings. You are welcome and invited to join in with any of these groups and deepen your experience here at Eastwood.
