TAKE A CUP, FILL IT UP
LENT 2018
Help quench a thirst. First Church Coral Springs joins with Water is Basic (South Sudan) and Praying Pelican (Dominican Republic) to provide clean drinking water. During Lent (February 14 - March 29) you are asked to pray for the people who are in need of clean water, and donate 25 cents at each mealtime, to help alleviate their plight. Pick up a cup today in the Narthex and fill it up. Please return the full cup on Palm Sunday, March 25.

EASTER FEST VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Children's Ministry is looking for adult and student volunteers for our Easter Fest March 31, 9:00am-12:00pm. We are trying something new and exciting this year and need lots of volunteers! No teaching experience necessary at all. This is a great opportunity to help with Children's Ministry if you haven't had a chance yet. Please email Lisa if you are available to help that morning. 
DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE

Welcoming all dads and daughters - come enjoy a very special evening of dancing, games, food, and memories! Join Children's & Men's Ministries for our 2nd Annual Daddy/Daughter Dance. It will be held in Robey Hall on April 7, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Tickets are $20 per couple ($5 each addt'l child) and will be sold at the door.

Looking to enhance your relationship with Christ in a very unique way? Join fellow Christians on a Walk to Emmaus. This 3-day event draws people closer to Jesus and deepens their faith walk. EASTER FEST DONATIONS
MARCH 4, 11 & 18
Easter Fest 2018 is fast approaching. Children's Ministry is looking for donations of egg stuffers for our annual egg hunt. If you could donate a bag or two of candy, Easter erasers, small toys, stickers, etc., it would be greatly appreciated. A bin will be outside the sanctuary for the next two Sundays for you to place your donation in. Just a reminder that we do NOT need plastic eggs - just goodies to go in the eggs.
PRESCHOOL JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

First Church Preschool is seeking an administrative assistant to manage the daily activities of a busy school office 25-30 hours per week during the school year and summer months. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, processing student files, giving tours, scheduling, bookkeeping and assisting in the daily activities of a vibrant Christian school. PASTOR'S BIBLE STUDY

Join Pastor Vance, at 9:15am on Friday mornings, February 16 - March 23, for a 5-week study of the Sermon on the Mount. No previous Bible study experience is necessary.
SOUP SUPPERS
LENT 2018
Come enjoy homemade soups, warm bread, mac n' cheese (for kids of all ages) and delicious desserts at 6:15pm in Fellowship Hall each Wednesday of Lent (February 21 -  March 28). Soul Cafe will follow at 7:00pm upstairs in Faith Building. The Soul Cafe will feature different experiences of prayer each week. A sign up sheet for those who wish to make a soup to share, or bring bread or dessert will be available on the plaza. We will have a SOUP SUPPER cookbook available after Lent so we can all  continue to enjoy these special recipes. Please email Mimi Milton  for more information.

Adult Fellowship will be celebrating the wearing of the green at Suzanne and Jay Rodriguez's house on Saturday, March 17. Wear your favorite St. Patty's day attire or something green. There will be a St. Patrick's Day Sing-a-long after dinner.

TODDLER TIME

Join Children's Ministry for an hour of Toddler Fun on Wednesday, March 21, from 10:00am-11:00am in the Red Room. Toddler Time is for children 18 months - 3 years old. Easter lilies to display at the altar Easter Sunday, are available for a donation of $10 per lily. Please put your donation in an envelope with your name and the name of who you are honoring or remembering. You may also fill out a flower request form. The deadline is March 25.

Every Child Matters is having a fundraising garage sale. They are taking donations of furniture, appliances, shoes, electronics, dishes, bikes, books, games, toys, etc. Please no clothing. Please bring all donations to Robey Hall on Friday, March 30 between 5pm and 9pm.

For the month of March, we are requesting pasta, pasta suace. 1 lb. bag of rice, canned black beans.
Bring your contributions on Sunday and put them in the designated cart.

Volunteers are needed to greet visitors, hand out Bible verses, and/or chaperone the children's table at Food Share (1st & 3rd Fridays of the month at 4:15-6:30pm). You are also welcome to volunteer from 12:30-3pm in Fellowship Hall to help pack the bags. Contact Suzanne Rodriguez, (954) 815-4719 .
