This Week at Grace

Ministry Partnerships
It is hard to believe that over a month has passed since I became your pastor. In this first month I have found great joy in getting to know you, the congregation and our ministry partners. God's gifts truly do abound at Grace UMC! From prayer ministry to HELP to Sunday school and Children's Ministry, there is a place for every person to grow in love of God and in love of other.

Just this week, I met with Katie Farmer, Regional Director for Metro Atlanta with Action Ministries. I was surprised to learn that Grace UMC has partnered with the Women's Community Kitchen for 30 years! Imagine how many lives have been transformed in that time. As our relationship has grown to include Global Ministries and as we all settle into our spaces with construction ongoing, I want to make sure that we maintain strong ties to our ministry partners as they enrich the opportunities we have to live out the faith we celebrate in worship on Sundays.

One immediate need that I know we can fill is for volunteers with the Women's Community Kitchen and the Action! Afterschool Program. Please see the details below and contact the coordinators if you can help out.

Thank you for your commitment to Grace UMC and to our community!
Peace,
Pastor Stacey
