HV Fundraiser: The Jog-A-Thon, 11/3

HV’s  9th Annual  Jog-A-Thon will be THIS FRIDAY! The Jog-A-Thon's fun, involves everyone, and raises funds to make our school stand out. Flag Deck will be on the Upper Playground this Friday. Our kids will run with their classes throughout the morning (according to this schedule). Come cheer them, their teachers, Dr. Schmidt, and more on - along with local firefighters and our favorite d.j. - as they speed or amble by in a happy, sweaty rainbow of Jog-A-Thon shirts, balloons, and smiles!

To prep. for the Jog-A-Thon:

#1: Students & Families, Please gather pledges from family and friends  now (using either  PledgeStar.com or your pledge forms).  Pledge forms will be  due this Thursday, 11/2. The class that raises the most pledge money will win a Mega Slime Party! Individual kids who use Pledgestar.com will receive a certificate for a personal pan pizza from Fresh Brothers.

#2: Make a guess in the 'Principal for the Day' Raffle ! Print out  this flyer and guess how many steps Dr. Schmidt will take during the Jog-A-Thon. Entries due this Friday, 11/3 by 8:50AM.

#3: Students, Plan to get lots of rest Thursday night, wear lightweight clothes and shoes good for running on Friday , and get ready, set, go!

HV Parent Tip: SAVE your child's Jog-A-Thon t-shirt after the event as teachers often ask students to wear their JAT shirts on field trips . The bright colors pop, making it easy to head count who's with HV!
