Human Growth & Development classes  are not part of NMUSD's elementary school curriculum. Sensing a gap the PFO has requested that  Annette Dunn, RN  (School Nurse and mom of 5) return to HV with  optional evening Growth & Development Classes for 4-6th Graders (& their parents)  through her company,  Sensitive Solutions . Please print out the flyer below, fill it out, and leave it with a check in the School Office to register, if you'd like!

The 35th Annual Newport-Mesa Spirit Run, 3/18

Register for Spirit Run   adult races (15k, 10k, 5k, and 1 mile (elite, open, and dog)), youth races (Youth 5k, ¼ to 1 mile, and a Toddler Trot), or family events (5k Family Walk and Family Mile) which will wrap around Fashion Island's Newport Center Drive on Sunday morning, 18th March.....or just plan to join HV there to cheer on friends and enjoy the Youth & Fitness Expo which will feature a pancake breakfast by Plum’s Cafe, live music by NMUSD students, bungee trampoline , rock climbing , and other youth activities, massage and shopping for adults, health and fitness information , a new Dog Expo , and more. Every child participating will receive a finisher's medal. Competitive runners might win winners' medals or take on a challenge brought by Dr. Schmidt! All HV Spirit Run runners will also be recognized at a Flag Deck. (Spirit Run is for ALL to participate at any age - and whether or not they're part of HV's Track Team!)

Proceeds from the Spirit Run will be shared by HV and other schools, teams, and clubs.
