Dear members of Kehilla, Diane and I saw “The Long Shadow” at the Mill Valley Film Festival.” It’s a marvelous look at the history of slavery in America and its current legacy. I want to suggest that all Kehilla members attend this showing. The film offers suggestions about how to combat the systemic racism in this country. The film’s director, Frances Causey, will be present to answer questions following the film. Blessings,
Rabbi Burt. Learn more >>
