Join us for our annual fall party on the field!  We will have bounce houses, games, music and food!  Plenty of time for you to make new friends and chat with old friends!  New this year: A DUNK TANK!  For $1 per ball you can dunk some of your favorite men on staff!  Fire away!  All the proceeds from the dunk tank will go towards building materials for  Sacred Roots Farm, a rescue in north Georgia for victims of human trafficking and their children.
We will be helping make renovations on their site.  Find out more about this important ministry at
Sunday morning
On Sunday morning, Rev. Bryan Loney will be with us and preaching during both hours of worship.  During our Sunday school hour we will have a joint Sunday School class in the Fellowship Hall with a panel of local counselors sharing with us on our yearly theme of suffering.

Our New Members Class has begun and this Sunday is the last day to join!  Come to the Learning Commons, one floor down on the West Wing, at 10:00 am Sunday, October 8.  This class is an excellent way to learn more about our church and our denomination and it is a requirement for membership.  It is also a great way to meet others who are new to our congregation.

Registration is now open at  www.

Serving On Sunday Mornings
Sunday morning worship is the "main event" at Mitchell Road.  We are honored to get to worship together every week!  In order for our Sunday morning worship to run smoothly we need many volunteers to assist with children, greet our guests at the door, and help at Coffee and Connections in the Commons Area.
If all of our members and regular attenders are willing to serve just once a month, we will be able to maximize our potential to welcome guests and care well for our children as we worship together.  Will you consider signing up today?  Visit our website at
