BE A GARDENING ANGEL!!
As you enter and exit St Matthew's campus, take a few moments to observe the setting. We have seven acres, and are working hard to beautify and maintain the landscape. The gardens have been expanded and are looking beautiful. Our landscape company does a nice job of keeping our grass cut, edging and trimming shrubbery. Most of the planting, watering, and weeding, however, is being done by
just three Gardening Angels: Beth DiGiovanni, Heidi Byron, and Janis Williams. With a nice amount of rainfall lately, the plants AND weeds are loving it! It requires almost constant attention, and
we need your help.
A lot can be accomplished in just an hour or two. If you would like to help us, please call me at 770-367-4930 to meet and I will be happy to tutor you in what is a weed, and what isn't, and how we do it. OK? You can make a big difference in a short amount of time.
Any amount of time weeding would be a great help in keeping the campus beautiful.
If you are not available for physical labor, we can also use donations for pine straw and hardwood mulch. We do not have enough!
Thanks so much,
Janis

SERVING SCHEDULE AND
EVENTS THIS WEEK
July 8, 2018

Be at peace.
Do not fear the changes of life, rather look to them with full hope as they arise. God, whose very own you are, will deliver you from out of them. He has kept you hitherto, and He will lead you safely through all things; and when you cannot stand it, God will bury you in His arms. Do not be afraid of what may happen tomorrow; the same everlasting father who cares for you today will take care of you then and every day. He will either shield you from suffering, or will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations.
-St. Francis de Sales
