- Individual devotional booklets available outside the Church Library
- Personal fasting and prayer and penitence articles
- Lenten Study Groups on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday

It's Carnival Time!! Invite your Friends!

At 5:30 pm on Tuesday, February 13th, enjoy some cool jazz from the Brazoswood High School Jazz Band and eat some hot, hot pancakes. Proceeds from this major community-wideevent provide opportunities for ongoing development of our Youth programs.
Pancake Supper tickets are $5 each; limit of $20 for a family.

Kre we sign up sheets are in the hall by our Patio Entrance.
  • We NEED your help! Most decorations will go up Sunday, February 11th after 10:30 service, but help Monday is welcomed as well. We also really need help cleaning up to prepare for Ash Wednesday services. Sign up for a Krewe shift.  Contact Kim/Mark Lehnhoff with questions.
  • We also need Sausage Krewe members to cook sausage beginning at 3:30 pm in our Parish Hall Kitchen.
Ash Wednesday
The first of the forty days of Lent, named for the custom of placing blessed ashes on the foreheads of worshipers at Ash Wednesday services. The ashes are a sign of penitence and a reminder of mortality, and may be imposed with the sign of the cross.

Join us for Holy Eucharist with imposition of ashes at 12:00 or 7:00 PM.

Or, stop by at your commute time for Ashes to Go from 7:00-9:00am and 3:30-5:50pm.

The Bible: Is it reliable? How did it come about? I don't always understand it? Is it really worth my time to read it? What if I disagree with it? Isn't it out-of-date? I see contradictions in it! What about doctrine?

These and other questions and objections arise sometimes about the Bible. Over the next several weeks Fr. Brendan is going to be talking about the Bible, how it has developed, questions which arise about interpretation and a whole other host of common and not-so-common questions about the book which we simply call the Bible. The Food Basket

Please help our neighbors in need by bringing items for the baskets in the narthex.  The biggest need right now is for canned tomato products - diced, stewed and sauce.

Thank you to all of you who are buying food! We are feeding the hungry, that is, feeding the sheep, as our Lord asks us to do.
