Safeguarding Training, March 24

Both Safeguarding God's Children (SGC) and Safeguarding God's People (SGP) will be held Saturday, March 24th in The Hall.  SGC will begin at 9:00 AM and SGC will begin at 1:00 PM.  Each class is scheduled for 3 hours.

If you serve in any ministries that involve children or youth, you are required to be certified in Safeguarding God's Children.
If you serve on the Vestry, are a Eucharistic Visitor, Small Group Leader, Usher or serve in any ministry for adults, you are required to be certified in Safeguarding God's People.

The certification process in Safeguarding is a multi-step process.  All steps must be completed which include an interview, online application process, references, background check and classroom training.  If all steps are not completed in the allowable time frame, certification will not occur.  To begin the process, please email Lauren Crim at LRCrim@comcast.net .  Certification remains active for 5 years, so if you think you may need re-certification, please email Lauren.

Lent Madness  - The Saintly Sixteen
We are into the Saintly Sixteen! Hang on to your halos; upsets continue to happen! Keep checking the bracket in the Narthex and by the Name Tags to see which saints are heading to the Elate 8 and are perhaps the Golden Halo! Remember, Lent Madness allows participants to be inspired by the ways in which God has worked through the lives of saints over the generations.

To keep up with this nail-biter, go to the website,  www.lentmadness.org , subscribe to the site via email, like Lent Madness on Facebook, or follow it on Twitter. You can also watch Lent Madness videos at  www.youtube.com/lentmadnesstv .

Lent Madness is thrilled to be using images of saints from St. Gregory of Nyssa Church in San Francisco, CA. You can learn more about the images at https://www.saintgregorys.org/the-dancing-saints.html. The images were created by Mark Dukes with the people of St. Gregory's.
