Lucane joined Sinai House in 2012 as its first full-time Program Director. We wish Lucane all the best at her new position as the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Coordinator for the City of Baltimore.

March with the RAC for DREAMers
Monday, March 5 at 10:30 AM
Join Rabbi Roos and other Sinai members to march on behalf of Dreamers. March 5th is the date the administration set for DACA to end.  Stand in solidarity with Dreamers and show your support for immigrants.  Sinai group will meet at 10:30 AM outside the Starbucks on 12th Street NW across from Federal Triangle Metro station, between Trump Hotel and the IRS building.  The march will start at the American History Museum at 11 AM and go to the Capitol.  More information on the event can be found on Facebook.
Shabbat Service with 4th Grade Siddur Ceremony & Participatory Dinner

All are invited to join for this fun service, which marks a major transition in the life of our 4th graders - from early Hebrew learners to prayers in Hebrew - from 'hands free' prayer to the wisdom and history of our siddur, our prayerbook. Crucial Conversation: Mindfulness

Teens and their parents are welcome to join us for our second Crucial Conversation of the year on mindfulness. Our guest presenter will be Dr. Steve Silvestro, Bethesda area pediatrician and founder of the Child Repair Guide. Dr. Silvestro will lead us in a conversation about mindfulness practice for teens and parents. Shabbat Shira: Music of the Mountains, A Bluegrass Shabbat

For this year's special music Shabbat, we "lift our eyes to the hills" for a musical service featuring guest artists  Nefesh Mountain. Expect an inspiring and soulful Shabbat celebration, as every corner of our sanctuary fills with the rich Jewish Americana sounds of Nefesh Mountain, joined by Senior Cantor Laura Croen and our adult and youth choirs.

March for Our Lives

The kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today.  At Temple Sinai, we are proud to support college students coming in from all over the country and are working with reform youth leaders on more ways we can help.
