Catholic Schools Week Has Begun!

2018 Catholic Schools Week kicked off today at The Castle with an all-school assembly to inspire reflection on personal formation, and a special Catholic high school teleconference with Archbishop Schnurr. Thanks to the many Cavaliers past and present who came home to The Castle to share their personal journey!

Here's What 's New, Cavaliers!

School Closure Information:
If we are ever forced to cancel school due to severe weather we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible.  We will notify you via the news stations and radio as well as a phone call, text message, email and the Purcell Marian website at www.purcellmarian.org. If you are not notified in one of the methods mentioned, then school has not been cancelled
.

Remember you can view your child's schedule or grades at any time by going to www.purcellmarian.org, click on Current Families, then Parentsweb Login. When logging into the parent portal, remember the district code is PM-OH, click student information, then grades. If you have any questions about logging onto ParentsWeb, email Mark Majick at [email protected] .

As you view and reflect on your student's report card, remember that if your child fails a class for a quarter, they still can pass for the year by passing the remaining quarters and doing well on the final exam. Any student who fails a class for the year must attend summer school and earn credit recovery for that class. Purcell Marian will not re-enroll any student who is credit deficient.

One-to-One Computer Update
We will conclude with issuing our one-to-one devices by Tuesday January 31st, and are very excited for our teachers to utilize the devices in the classroom to supplement student learning.  Below are a couple policy and procedure reminders about the program:
  • Students are responsible for their devices at all times and are required to bring their device to every class. Students will not be allowed into class without their device.
  • Whenever a device is not being used it should be in their issued case.
  • Each student has their name displayed on their device and case. Students should never remove the name label or alter/decorate their device or case in anyway.
  • Room 39 is our tech help room. Students who are experiencing problems with their device or need a fix should report to room 39.
If you have any questions, please contact Jon Tobin at 513-487-3115 or email [email protected]
