Camp Light Needs Our Help this  Sat April 15
Many of our youth at Trinity enjoy the yearly Halloween fundraising event at Camp Light, Twizted Creations. This event was first introduced to us by our youth leader, Stephanie Otteni, years ago and now Camp Light is asking us to give back!!  Please see the below request for assistance from the Dennison Family who established a wonderful project tied in with Camp Light (anyone who can attend please let Sascha Wallace know (540-294-1704 or sascha.wallace4@gmail.com) so we can give them a head count for lunch):

We are looking for some help (adults and kids) to erect the riding rink on Saturday, April 15th from 7 AM to sunset.  LUNCH PROVIDED - Blue Ridge Fence and Window will be furnishing hot dogs, chips and drinks for lunch.  Any amount of time would be appreciated.  We have boards to carry and dirt to be spread, hammer and nailing stuff and fun for the whole family.  Wear your old clothes kind of stuff.   Come take a tour of the town that is already built for these incredible kids.   What a better time to contribute time and talent than the weekend of EASTER!  By now, you have heard about the project that "The Dennison family" started.  Our family decided to donate our time and efforts instead of Christmas gift to each other , we would chose a great cause.  Then it got so the more people heard about this cause the more people started to ask what they could do to help us.  THIS COMMUNITY IS AWESOME! So, we set out alongside the  founders Scott Balsley and his wife Cathy to raise money to build a Therapeutic riding ring for the kids to use this summer 2017.  We did fund raisers and sold sandwiches and accepted donations from our friends, family, SOCA friends,  business owners and churches and Thrivent Lutheran.  My father in law (Charlie) owns Blue Ridge Fence and Window and he graciously donated his time and  has planned, used his employees  and will be our Captain on building the rink.   Camp light is a non-profit camp for mentally and physically challenged children.  Go to CampLight.org   for more information about the camp and volunteering and donation opportunities.

Address for Camp Light is :
107 Creative Works Lane Waynesboro, VA 22980

Easter Cross Flowers Needed
Please bring fresh flowers from your yard or a store for the Flower Cross on Easter Sunday. The Cross will be placed at the front of the Church and available for all Easter services. Thank you.
Bring out your Bells!
At the Great Vigil of Easter, it is customary for the people to ring hand-held bells during the singing of the Gloria. Have a little bell at home? Bring it to the Vigil on Saturday, April 15, at 8:00pm. Keep it in your pocket through the first part of the service at Emmanuel, join in the candlelight procession to Trinity, and then ring out your joy when the lights come on, Easter arrives, and we sing in celebration!
Easter Vigil and Agape Feast
Please join us Saturday evening, April 15, for the Easter Vigil service and the Agape Feast. Please bring a sweet or savory food to share at the feast. It can be dropped off at Trinity at about 7:30 pm, prior to the service beginning at Emmanuel at 8:00 pm. This is a lovely and special Easter celebration that we invite you to join.

Noon Lunch needs help picking up donated produce
Noon Lunch needs help picking up donated produce from the Staunton Farmers' Market each Saturday from April 8 - November 18.  Teams of two meet at the market just prior to closing (about 11:55) and accept donated produce.  They then take it to Trinity and store it in the refrigerator so it can be used by the cooks the following week.  They then email Carter Hannah  what was collected.  This job takes about an hour and your help on one Saturday or many will be greatly appreciated. Contact Carter Hannah (540-241-8735  cnghannah@ntelos.net) or Kathy Schneiderman (Kathy.schneiderman@gmail.com) and we will gratefully put you on the calendar.
