Noon Lunch needs help picking up donated produce from the Staunton Farmers’ Market each Saturday through November 18.  Teams of two meet at the market just prior to closing (about 11:55) and accept donated produce.  They then take it to Trinity and store it in the refrigerator so it can be used by the cooks the following week.  They then email Carter Hannah  what was collected.  This job takes about an hour and your help on one Saturday or many will be greatly appreciated. Contact Carter Hannah (540-241-8735 or Kathy Schneiderman ( and we will gratefully put you on the calendar.

Emmanuel Centering Prayer Group: meets at 5:30 each Sunday.  Typically, we have a 20 minute period of silent prayer followed by a short discussion. Currently we are reading together Cynthia Bourgeault's Centering Prayer and Inner Awakening.  You do not have to have a copy of the book, nor do you have to read ahead.   Centering Prayer is simply silent prayer in which we place ourselves in God's presence and rest there.  It extends and supports "active" prayer in which we use words to praise, thank, and petition.  Many have found Centering Prayer to be a powerful path to experiencing the spirit of God within us.  Everyone is welcome to join us in the "Bride's Room" (the small room through the door at the back of the church).  If you have questions, Jim Lott (540-290-9136) or Rose Jensen (920-544-7311) will be happy to try to answer them.
