Two Area Councils Combine to Better Serve Area Members

The board of directors of both Fort Mill and Tega Cay area councils have agreed to join forces, as part of the Regional Chamber.  In addition to assisting the board and staff and more effectively serving members in those areas, consolidating as the Fort Mill-Tega Cay Area Council will facilitate greater focus, efficiency and management of programs and events.

The consolidation plan was approved by the Regional Board in April, and the first joint meeting of the Area Council Board is scheduled for Thursday, May 26.  The area councils are excited at how much more will be accomplished as a joint group. For more information on this Chamber's group and the Rock Hill Area Council,  contact Krimson Wilson at 803-547-5900.
