All About the Money - August 24 Small Business Council Seminar Luncheon Series
The Small Business Council (SBC), along with presenting sponsor NarroWay Productions, will host the next in a series of luncheon seminars on Wednesday, August 24. The event will featureJay Rinehart ofRinehart Realty;
Don Minges ofDLM Financial Consulting; and
Randy Pellisaro of
Catawba Regional Council of Governments;
and will provide informationabout non-traditional funding options available
to local businesses including crowdfunding and angel investors.
The event will be held at the Glennon Center from 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. The cost of this seminar is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members, and includes lunch. Registration is encouraged by August 22. Additional details and registration information is available here.
Welcome the YouLead Class of 2017
The Youth Leadership York County (YouLead) Class of 2017
participated in a full-day retreat this past weekend to talk about the importance of diversity to a successful team. The group of 20 students represent seven different high schools in York County and will meet monthly over the next eight months to not only learn more about the successes and challenges facing our community, but to also discover how young people can get involved and make a positive impact on the future of York County.
