Power Luncheon to Introduce New CEO
Piedmont Medical Center will introduce their new CEO, Bradley Talbert, at the Chamber's next Power Luncheon on Wednesday, August 17. With over 15 years of executive leadership and hospital management experience, Talbert's presentation will focus on his goals for Piedmont Medical Center, the role a hospital system plays in the private sector and in the community, and the future of healthcare on the local, regional and national levels.

Giving Back To Our Community
Fort Mill/Tega Cay Area Council Co-Chairman Sarah Adkins of South State Bank (right), led a team of hard-working Chamber volunteers at this year's Strawberry Festival , resulting in a successful fundraising effort and a generous contribution to the Foundation for Fort Mill Schools. On behalf of the Area Council, Adkins recently visited the Fort Mill School District offices to present a check to Assistant Superintendent Marty McGinn (left) .

Chamber Golf Tournament Set for September 22
Our annual Golf Tournament will be here before you know it! Presented by  Founders Federal Credit Union, the tournament is scheduled for September 22nd with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. Golfers will receive welcome gifts and enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for an afternoon of friendly competition on the first-class course provided by Rock Hill Country Club
Individual playing spots are $150, while teams of four can play for only $500. Various sponsorship packages are available now for a limited time and include fantastic promotional opportunities.   Register online now or email Bernice Woodard for details.

Chamber Members Support a Good Cause

Piedmont Medical Center Senior Helpers , and the Catawba Area Agency on Aging partnered-up recently to host an  Alzheimer's /dementia educational event resulting in a $7,000 donation to the SC Alzheimer's Association. Congratulations to all on another successful community collaboration.
