Covenant Kids Camp Monarch this Saturday!

Covenant Hospice's Camp Monarch is a free, unique camp for children ages 6 - 15 who have  recently experienced the loss of a loved one. 

Camp Monarch allows children the opportunity to  explore their emotions in a safe environment and gain strength from other children in similar situations.

Camp Monarch will allow children the opportunity to focus on "Overcoming the Obstacles of  Grief" as they participate in activities such as games, art, drama, inflatable obstacle course and group discussions.

The  Bay Minette Fire Department will be hosting their 2nd Annual Dash & Splash, 5k, Fun Run and Pool Party on Friday, September 11th at the  Bay Minette City Pool!

Proceeds from the Annual Dash & Splash will benefit the Bay Minette Fire Department and their Fire Prevention Programs. Over the past year the BMFD has given away and installed approximately 200 smoke detectors in homes in our community. In addition to the smoke detector giveaway program, the Bay Minette Firefighte rs see between 1,700-2,000 school age children each year teaching them about fire safety and leaving them with learning tools such as activity books, helmets and more to take home with them to ensure a lasting impression about fire prevention.
 
The BMFD is currently seeking sponsors for this year's event, as well as participants! CLICK HERE for more information on how to get involved!

The North Baldwin Chamber Foundation is giving away 30 Guns in 30 Days! Just in time for hunting season!

The 30/30 giveaway will take place from November 1st through  November 30th 2015 where one drawing will be conducted each day over the course of 30 days, with a different prize each day. The prizes for the raffle are 30 hunting rifles and shotguns (please see complete list of rules for more information).
