The Douglasville School Renaissance Project will be hosting Unity Fest on Friday July 24th 2015 starting at 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Old Douglasville School. Unity Fest follows the conclusion of The Light of the City Summer Camp. For the occasion, Evangelist Dorothy Johnson wrote a song entitled "Community" to be performed during opening ceremonies. There will be vendors, a basketball tournament, singers, inspirational rappers, games, food and much, much more. Everyone is encouraged to come out to unite the community by showing support, love, laughter, etc. Any proceeds raised will go towards building up a safe and educational enriched environment for the children in our community.
