Whether you own a small business or are thinking about starting a business there are some key accounting and tax issues with which you need to be familiar. Let Tammy Busby, CPA and Stanley Gilliland, CPA of Hartmann, Blackmon & Kilgore PC give you a preview of what you should consider, including:
Appropriate Accounting and software system
Sales tax and payroll tax procedures
Type of business entity (eg. LLC, S-Corp,etc.) selected
Basis of accounting
There will be time for you to have your particular accounting and tax questions addressed at this workshop.
