What's Being Done to Fight the Zika Virus?
Sunday night, 60 Minutes aired a segment on the Zika Virus.  
REMINDER: Zika Virus Prevention Kits Distribution
As a reminder, the Town of Palm Beach will begin providing "Zika Prevention Kits' to Town residents, while supplies last. Residents can pick up a prevention kit at Town Hall or the North Fire Station between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

So far, 68 kits have been picked up by residents and 52 kits have been given to condo managers.  There are plenty left so stop by today and get your free kit.

The Celia Lipton Farris and Victor W. Farris Foundation has made a $1.135 million gift to The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) to create the Farris Foundation Endowed Graduate Fellowship on the Jupiter, Florida campus. "I want to thank the Farris Foundation for its generous gift to support our graduate program," said TSRI President Peter Schultz. "Gifts like this will help train the next generation of scientists who are critical to the future of biomedical research -- and to build a legacy of scientific excellence."

Florida Bay Tour Recruits 'Restoration Army'
Everglades Foundation Bus
The "Road Trip to Restoration" ended Sunday in Islamorada, having collected about 7,700 petition signatures from Everglades and Florida Bay advocates. Hosted by the Everglades Foundation, the statewide bus tour traveled 1,976 miles with 22 stops to raise awareness about efforts to send more fresh water to Florida Bay through the Everglades system.
