NEW VENDOR - On November 1st, welcome Pureblend Teas to Market!  This small business was founded in West Chester, PA with the commitment to providing healthy, socially responsible blended teas in an effort to raise consciousness for better living through alternative and holistic resources available in natural form. Pureblend is available at several local Central Pennsylvania Farmers Markets, and now the Ocean Pines Farmers Market.  All Pureblend teas and herbs are purchased from USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified vendors in the effort to bring you the freshest blends, sustain the world's ecology and support the communities in small villages where tea provides a vital economy.  Now you can sip your Pureblend Tea found at your Ocean Pines Farmers Market! (Look for Pureblend Teas located between Rockwood Soy Candles and Great Shoals Winery)   WWW.PUREBLENDTEA.COM

VISITING VENDORS

November 1st, the Flower Farm on Silva will be visiting your Ocean Pines Farmers Market.   The small locally owned flower farm is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and grows many different varieties of daffodils.  On these two days they will be selling 12 types of daffodil bulbs, all great varieties for our local gardens.  Fall is the time to plan and plant for that splash of spring color, with locally grown daffodils in your garden.    The Buchanan family is also artistic.  They make unique hand-crafted Feed Bag Totes, and Pool Ball Wire Spiders, both will be available for purchase at market.

On Saturday November 8th get acquainted with Katelyn Kirby, a local Ocean City artisan baker. Katelyn is the owner of Seaside Sweets, offers fresh baked seasonal delights, with cupcakes as her specialty. Find out why her customers call her baked goods "A little piece of heaven for your taste buds!"

KIDS MARKET ZONE
November 1st

As the weather changes, we're going to the birds with a fun project to teach children the appreciation of wildlife right in their very own backyard.  Ms. Vicki and her creative crafting crew will be making Pinecone Bird Feeders with the children in the Kids Market Zone.  With this project, kids will love being able to watch the birds eating from the feeder they crafted at market. It will give them a sense of satisfaction and fosters stewardship to see that they can help their feathered friends find something to eat.

Kids Market Zone activities begin at 9:00am and are open to all children between the ages of 3 and 14. The Holy Trinity Cathedral is hos of the Ocean Pines Farmers Market Kids Zone. A Small donation is suggested, but not required for a child participating in an activity at the Kids Market Zone.
