April Food Bank Staffing

St. John parishioners will staff the Food Bank Pantry each Saturday during the month of April from 9:15 am to noon. Located at the United Reformed Church, 100 West Main Street in Somerville. Grace Soup Kitchen

Friday, April 28

Grace Soup Kitchen serves 1,000 hot nutritious meals the last five days of each month to the hungry of Plainfield. St. John on the Mountain parishioners help on the last Friday of each month. Join us one Friday as we prepare and serve lunch. The next day scheduled for St. John on the Mountain to serve is on Friday, April 28th from 10 am - 1 pm. To sign-up email Graham Argent-Belcher.

Spring Fundraiser

Friday, May 12

The date for this year's fundraiser to support our parish and nursery school will be held on Friday, May 12th at Roxiticus Golf & Country Club. The evening will include wonderful cocktails, appetizers, a lively silent auction and wine pull. Did you receive an invitation to this fabulous event? If not, we would love to have you join us! Please email Shellie Iossa for an invitation or more info.

Wine Needed

Action item! We need your help with donations for the wine pull raffle.

Each "pull" will cost $20 or 3 for $50 and that will give guests the opportunity to pull a cork that will win a bottle (or bottles) of wine valued at $25 and up.

If you find yourself at your favorite beverage store within the next few weeks, please consider picking up a bottle or two of wine (price range $25 and up please) to donate to the event. Or, maybe you already have a nice wine cellar that's aging rapidly or just collecting dust. We'll help you find a good home for a few bottles and we'll even dust them off for you!

Please bring wine with you to coffee hour and leave it in the kitchen. Important: make sure to notate the value of the wine along with your name . We'll make sure one of our volunteers knows it is for the event and not for our post-church enjoyment! If you are unable to attend coffee hour, you may leave it during business hours in the parish office or drop by the house of Shellie Iossa at 108 Crest Drive, Bernardsville.

Women's Bible Study

Thursday, April 27

The women are continuing their study of Women of the Old Testament. All are welcome. No previous experience needed! Please join us! Thursdays at 10 AM in the Parish Office Meeting Room.

Vacation Bible School

June 26- June 30

Children ages 3 through rising 4th graders are invited to join us June 26-June 30 for summer camp. Kids will learn, create, and have fun! Join us for sports, games, music, snacks, Bible stories, and cool crafts. The cost is $60 per child (with a $150 cap per family). Click here for registration form.
