Snow Day on the Mountain

Due to the snow on the mountain, all campus activities for the Parish and Nursery School are cancelled for Thursday, February 9.

St. John's Boys' and Girls' Choir

February 12

The first rehearsal for our new St. John's Boys' & Girls' Choir will be on Sunday, February 12 from 11:05 until 11:40. All children in grades 2 through 8 are invited to join us in the choir room. We will be working on preparing music to sing for Easter. For further info please email Christopher Jennings.

Temple Hammen, Choral Scholar

Sunday, February 12

We welcome Temple Hammen as our new soprano Choral Scholar in the St. John's Choir. Through a generous anonymous gift, Temple will be present to sing with the Choir each Sunday in worship through the end of the program year and will attend weekly rehearsals. Temple is a senior in vocal performance at Westminster Choir College and we are excited to have her with us.

Women's Bible Study

Thursday, February 16

The women are continuing their study of Women in the Old Testament, and all are welcome. No previous experience needed! The women are pleased to welcome back Mother Ann Holt who will be working with the group in Mother' Susan's absence. Please join us! Thursdays at 10 AM in the Parish Office Meeting Room.

Ladies' Luncheon

All are welcome to join the Ladies' Luncheon on Thursday, February 16th at noon at the home of Joy Baird, 29 Long Hill Road, New Vernon. Please bring a sandwich; beverages and dessert will be provided.. We hope to see you there. RSVP to Joy at 973-539-8328.

Piano Dedication

Sunday, February, 26

St. John's has recently been given a generous gift - a Yamaha GC1 2006 Grand Piano. We will dedicate the new instrument at our 10:00 am Eucharist on Sunday, February 26, when we will also welcome the donor family to St. John's.

Stock Donations

Don't forget that you can donate your Stocks to SJOTM. The tax advantages of giving stock, instead of cash, to church can make doing so very worthwhile.
