Important Information on Constitutional Amendment No. 5
The Property Appraiser would like to let you know about important information for property owners over the age of 65 who may benefit financially from
Constitutional Amendment No. 5
pertaining to property exemptions.
Anyone over the age of 65, who obtained the Long-Term Senior Exemption before January 1st, 2017, and later lost the exemption when their property's market value exceeded the $250,000 limit, may benefit from this amendment, as this may qualify them to receive the exemption retroactiv
ely to when they originally qualified and could result in obtaining a refund
for those prior years.
Winter Break Is Almost Here!
Winter break is coming. Our winter camps will thrill and challenge youngsters, ages 6-14, with a variety of activities from fitness, sports, and arts and crafts to games and exciting field trips. Camps will be held Dec. 27-30, 2016 - Jan. 3-6, 2017, Tuesday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with early drop-off available at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 6 p.m.

- Every third Thursday of the month renew or replace driver's license or state ID card.
MDX-SunPass
- Every third Thursday of the month MDX will provide all attendees with a free SunPass mini for all vehicles in their household as well as
informing residents about current and future MDX projects

Life Alliance

Organ Recovery Agency (LAORA) will have representatives available every third Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to educate residents on how to become a registered organ and tissue donor.
