This Weekend in Beaver Creek

March 9, 2018

Dear Neighbors

This is just another quick note to help us keep in mind the activities available in our local area for the weekend.

Today the BC Preservation & Historical Society has an exceptionally fine guest speaker starting at 9 AM in the Beaver Creek Adult Center.  On Saturday morning from 8 AM to 9 AM is the Beaver Creek Rd Cleanup.  We have really trashed our main road.  Please give an hour if you can.  Before the cleanup grab some free food at Beaver Creek School and afterward join the special hike starting at 10 AM.  All the details are below.  Afterward maybe you'd like to reward yourselves with lunch or dinner out at one of our local restaurants.

Bonnie Best, a librarian at BC Library, has provided us more information on free tax preparation.  The chart she provided is below.  Also there will be a health screening at the library on March 13.  The flyer information is below.

Whatever or where ever you choose to be in the Verde Valley today & tomorrow, the March weather looks perfect for outside activities.  Sunday there is a possibility of a rain shower.
