This is it! Outfest 2012 officially kicks off tonight. 30 years in the making, tonight's Opening Night Gala promises to be the biggest yet. There's still time to join the party. Tickets are available at the door. Don't miss Ricki Lake presenting the Pope of Filth, John Waters, with the Outfest Achievement Award followed by VITO. A new film by director Jeffrey Schwarz, VITO shines a light on Vito Russo, whose tireless efforts in the 1980s, co-founded ACT UP and GLAAD, defined activism for our community.
